    Not fallen off. Yet.

I've forgoteen just how many times I fell off in my first month on a
moped. It must have been well over 20. I was really shite when I
    started, some things never change.

  10. Oh yes. Last time (not counting a racetrack spill in 1987) was, er, um,
    1982 (might have been 1983).

As a learner - oh, blimey. Times beyond number. Well, at least half a
    dozen.

The day before the Big Eclipse was the last time I fell off although I
didn't actually come off but I would have done if the wall had not been
    in the way.

No. Whenever I've put it down its has always been a carefully considered
decision, selected as offering the optimal strategy within the parameters
pertaining at the moment the decision was taken.

Moreover not all the decisions were necessarily taken with my conscious
mind. In fact I'm so good a rider I can sub-let some decision making
routines to trees, diesel and neighbouring traffic without invalidating the
essentially voluntary ................. You're not believing me are you?

Well, seeing as this seems to have turned into a "I have fallen off"
    thread:

I've had a couple of track surfing incidents and the inevitable
    MXer/ground interface scenario.

Fell off the Guzzi a few years ago at about 10MPH, which resulted in a
broken collarbone (just don't ask!), and dropped a bike in a disc lock
incident a few years before that.

I am trying to believe you...... honest, but it is just ever so slightly
    beyond my imagination.

Which frankly is more than a little odd and obviously a result of the
deteriorating standards we are witnessing around here. There was a time
when it would have quickly evolved into a discussion on what constitutes
a precise definition of falling off, the proper way to brake for a
corner, tits, a death threat, tits, the fine line between a crash and a
bin, tits, a minor spelling flame, tits, some minor rattle throwing,
perhaps a death threat from arising from a trolling cross post and, of
    course, tits.

Don't forget all the people who were killed falling off and hence haven't
    replied to your thread.
