    Hi,

I was wondering where you'll be able to get the above? The ones you normally
    find on courier bikes.

    thanks.

My question is, where do you buy hand warmers/ mitts you normally find
attached to courier motorbike handlebars. They keep rain and wind off your
    hands.

If you're really lucky, Zebee will tell you how to make them out
of orange-juice cartons. Of course, back in my day we didn't
have orange juice, so we just stuck a turtle on each bar ...

    Alan,

IIRC you have a BMW. Have you had a seat cover from this mob ?
They look ok and was wondering do they make that big a difference
    especially on long rides.

Buy an R1150RT. Heated grips are standard.

Seriously though, I've seen a lot of these around in other countries and I
worry that you won't be able to get your hands on or off the bars as quickly
as you might need to. Personally, I ride with intermediate gloves in winter
    with heated bars.

There was a mob out in country NSW who did an aftermarket heated grip kit
for around $55. I don't remember the URL but I'll post it when I can find
it. Probably on of the best investments I ever made on my K100 for comforts
    sake.

  12. Just a plain sheep skin that I sometimes use. A fitted cover would be no use
to me, the skin get used as a pillow in the tent also.

  13. Cant give you a URL, but both Vince Strang Motorcycles at Inverell and
Ballards at Penrith sell the grip heater kits. Bloody good stuff and you
get to choose grips you like.

Found it. I got my heated grips from Vince Strang Motorcycles and they were
    $55 including postage. http://www.vsmsafaris.com or (02)6721 0610

  17. Bad spacing Clementine, "Go Glove" is what they call 'em. Another brand I
used to see was "Dryfingeez", what can you butcher out of that. I had
similar years ago on some past BMW, brilliant in winter with summer gloves
and heated grips on low. Look iffy though.
