When I was a 1st year Aircraft Technician apprentice [1] the old lags took
great delight in sending us down to the stores for various exotic items,
    such as;

    - A long weight (Storeman: "I'll just see if we've got any left"
[returns 20 minutes later] "OK, have you waited long enough?")
    - Rubber Dot Punch
    - Spare sparks for the grinder (Storeman: Did you bring a damp paper
    bag?")
    - Sky hooks
    - Replacement bubble for the spirit level
    - Hammer Grease

Hammer Grease? I was just flicking through the latest Screwfix catalogue
and there it was "Hammer Grease"
    http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=98044 if you're really
interested but the point is, it really exists!

How many more years do I have to wait (weight?) for the others?

[1] I'm not saying what year it was but there were Hawker Hunters on the
    production line!

I have a very rusty hammer which is a testament to the consequences of
poor storage and maintenance (and infrequent use)..

I've heard that on a helicopter, the thing that holds the rotor on is
    called 'the jesus bolt'

    Seems reasonable enough!
