Halogen lights for Bandit 600

    Just got meself a T-reg Bandit 600S. Anyone know if it's feasible to fit a
    halogen lamp to the headlight ?

    Err, hasn't it got such bulbs already?

    I don't know about that, but you can fit more powerful bulbs.

    If you're new to the Bandit, I would suggest you go and have a look at
    sukbog:

    and subscribe to their mailing list (web based).

    Hmmm, my Bandit was T reg. I wonder....

    done most things to a Bandit

    The lens is glass. Well, it was on my '99 Bandit 12S, anyway.

    AFAIK, all headlight lenses are glass - in any case, should it be
    plastic, the distance from lens to bulb should be great enough to
    avoid the lens melting from the additional heat given off from an
    uprated bulb. I've put 100 Watt main, 80 Watt dip bulbs in my last
    three bikes with no adverse effects.
    That's sound advice. They BOGgers know their stuff.
