and then you all witter on endlessly about how clever you are that you
have killfiled half the posters to ukrm? I think sort of defeats the
point but there you go, what do I know?

You can keep your generalisations to yourself. I've not told any one of
the five that I've KFed, that I have done so.

I've followed the sub-thread that followed this statement with some
interest - I almost posted yesterday that the above state was
tantamount to inviting an insult from a lurker or two.

Out of interest - when you say "people I don't know, and who don't know
me" - are you specifically referring to people you've met in person, or
just to people you've had interaction with online over a period of
    time?

I do sort of know exactly what you mean, in either case, though in a
way, it's a double standard (I'm talking about me here, not you) - I'll
happily take the piss out of newbies on here, but resent having the
piss taken out of me by newbies. And IRL, I'll happily ridicule people
I've only just met, if I think they deserve it. Conversely though, IRL,
people I don't know don't tend to try and take the piss out of me,
though I put that down to having a regional accent.

Suprised me too. I didn't think I was that tolerant.

  17. We were photographed standing within feet of each other at Snetterton.

Then there are lots of UKRMers and Ixions I've met at my old place, as a
stop over on the way to the continent and or they've come to stay for a
while and to be honest I can't remember all of them.

    Do they remember me?

    Wonders off wondering........................
