Oh well at least Toyota don't seem to cop much flak from car lovers.
My Toyota supra 87-88 fantastic car way ahead of it's time, it's looks are
still a step up from any new car i've seen expect for maybe the new nissan
    Z.

Someone mentioned honda are like sony, they were making great stuff in the
70's and 80's. Well i tend to believe your right, but sony are still making
great stuff, it's never apparent how good there stuff is until a couple
years after where you relize everything else gets compared to the sony as
the benchmark. and that there stuff was really good, altho when it first
comes out it doesn't seem that way.
i dunno about honda tho, i knew they made good stuff, but when i said they
last i really only had experience with some of there older cars and a
genarator, which outlived 2x kawasaki genarators, and is still genarating
    electricity without missing a beat.

Oh, I'm not concerned at all, I just think you need help :)
    What man would that be?
If that's how you justify it Hatz, then so be it. If you ask me, you're just
as much of a fucked in the head nutbag as a diehard Holden or Ford nut I've
    ever seen :)

high performance harleys are never built by hd...and sometimes have no hd
parts on them...and it would be fundamentally un american to copy off the
japs...allowing them into the country to manufacture their own designs,
using their own technology and people, yes

Or perhaps what they build already IS sufficiently high-performance to
totally satisfy their market and their manufacturing capacity.
They certainly don't seem to any trouble selling them......

It was strange watching a Top Bike drag racing final at Willowbank in June,
being fought out between a Harley and a Triumph...

    The Triumph won... : )

  20. If I recall corrently tho, that bike is a "Triumph" because some
of the engine components came from Triumph - from their _car_
    factory...

Yeah, its impressive, but its no more a Speed Triple than the
    "Harley" is a Heritage Softtail...

    :)
