One of the Albanians who gassed & robbed my parents in Italy is now 6
feet under with an Italian cop's bullet in him. Another will be
enjoying the next few years trying not to drop the soap. Marvellous.

Good work by the Italian plod.

They did make sure he wasn't an innocent Brazilian sparky going to
    work didn't they?

I doubt they'd care to be honest. Sounds like they were caught red
    handed doing a B&B.

I thought it had been proved that he didn't "run", except for to catch
the train that was sitting at the platform as he went down the
escalator? I seem to remember that the first plod version of events was
that he ran into the station, vaulted the barrier and dashed onto a
train, which eventually ended up as "walked into the station, through
the barriers with a valid ticket, down the escalator, and saw there was
a train on the platform, so jogged over to make sure he got it"...

Hmm...shows how the tabloid press (and police propaganda) can influence the
ways that events are "remembered". Hi didn't "run". He was sitting down
when the plod entered the train. According to independent witnesses he was
still sitting down when he was shot. He was innocent of the crimes which
    resulted in his summary execution.

"In a world of Terror, it is better that once innocent spic with a bad
puffer-jacket is murdered by an incompetant police unit managed by a
woman with a silly name, than for several guilty misguided northerners
of middle-eastern and/or Pakistani family backgrounds to go free..."

He thought he was innocent but unfortunately Tony didn't tell him the
    rules had changed.

TBF I don't think that dubya had told Tony yet either. Not in words he
    was able to understand, anyway.
