It's a VTX1800 mate. Even the most diehard Honda fan would say it was a piece of crap. (Though not quite as bad as the VTX1300). That's from a rider's POV. The CBR600RR was more comfortable than the VTX from the pillion POV. Nev.. '03 ZX12R
It's a VTX1800 mate. Yeah ok, but what brand is it again? Even the most diehard Honda fan would say it was a piece of crap. (Though not quite as bad as the VTX1300). I believe that is true of the whole range !Guilty as charged by association..... That's from a rider's POV. The CBR600RR was more comfortable than the VTX from the pillion POV. Dont know or want to know of either, like the *BigBoy* said, "I would rather push a Harley than ride a haonda" i agree with him CDIHL Nev.. '03 ZX12R
~ Obviously still better than the Kawasakis he deals in though eh? (Otherwise he wouldn't be riding it!) ....and besides; if he SELLING Kawasakis he not gonna' talk up other brands is he? Clem
I'm tempted to say "build a better Harley" (but seeing as the Harleys I've met have been quite reliable, I won't!)
Dunno why everyone's taking the piss out of the VTX1800. Ridden one several times and while it ain't my style of cycle, it was a fun thing to ride. Mate has owned his since they first arrived in the country and hasn't had a drama with it. Unlike mates I have with Ducatis (don't get me wrong, I've owned a Duc, enjoyed the bike but wouldn't own one again, too many idiosyncrasies for me) where they have had bikes back to the shop again and again. Each to their own .... Cheers Kevin Gleeson Imagine It West Hobart Tasmania Australia www.imagine-it.com.au
