    I am sticking with being far too wimpish to contemplate a weekend in a
    tent in the rain. I'll leave any booking next year until the last
    minute.

    I've just rescheduled my tunnel booking to the first weekend in
    September, with a couple of other drop-outs. A long weekend in Bruges
    beckons, wiv spouses.

    Managed to get home just before the most monumental deluge of rain I've
    ever seen in my life last night. Looked like it was on it's way to
    Belgium. If you're still thinking of going to Chimay pack a wet suit.
