gsxr suzuki ?

thinking of buying an early ( pre 90) suzuki gsxr 750. anyone comment on
which model/year is better than another ?

Most models are 'better' than the models preceeding them, so if you're
looking at a bike which has been in production for 26 years, and then
excluding all of the bikes from the most recent 22 of those years you've
already done a pretty good job of discarding all of the 'better' models.
Normally in any new vehicle production run you'd probably exclude the
first one or two models, but in the case of the GSXR-1100 I think you'd
be doing a disservice to exclude the slabsides however for the 750 the J
model was the one which I remember hearing spoken about most in the
early 90s so therefore i deduce it was the pick of the range you're
looking at.
