GSX600F

    My gsx seems to have a ticking noise which gets progressively louder
    when I open up the throttle. You can just about hear it when you pull
    the clutch in on tickover when stationary. When you pull the clutch in
    to change gear whilst riding the noise nearly disappears .Any ideas
    please?

    It is the timing chain. You can adjust it via the tensioner to make it
    more quiet.
