    What the bloke was charged with was failure to supply a breath sample whilst
    he was legally in charge of a road-going vehicle.

    That's dead easy to prove ... "Officer, did this man provide a breath
    sample?", "No yer honour."

    Not sure it was because he was a pillion but on a public road but he was
    deemed to be in charge of the vehicle even though he was in the pillion
    position.

    Still, bit of a harsh sentence... I liked the bit at the end of the article
    that said he would deal differently with the police in the future. Shotgun
    perhaps?
