ground anchors

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Adrienne M Jenn, Nov 18, 2003.

  1. Our company is in the process of designing a new building for us to
move into and has been badgered into talking to us motorcyclists about
getting a designated area written into the plans.

Does anyone know / recommend any ground anchors that could be put in
such an area? at the mo we're looking at 48 spaces though this may
have to be reduced to 25-30.

    any advice would be appreciated.

    ta.

We've got a proper bike shed style construction with a back, 2 sides and
a roof but no front. It's about 50 feet wide and there's a steel bar
that runs the width of it which is ideal for locking the front wheel to.

No idea of the cost but it's probably similar to a lot of ground
    anchors.

The best arrangement is a series of inverted Us, as a vertical bit
means you can use a D lock.
