greenslip

  1. So.. get my greenslip renewal for the T.

Inside the envelope are a couple more dead trees, including one that
says I must inform the insurer if the age of the vehicle changes.

Do you suppose they'll refuse a claim if I don't remind them that the
    bike's a year older now?

Of course! and get-out is a good get-out if you're an insurance company.

I'd invite them to the birthday party.....

Well it depends on the granularity. You may be required to notify them by
the day, or even second (or perhaps more often).

An automated email system - start with, say an email every hour to inform
them of the current age of the bike.

    They'll thank you for it!

    Probably. :-(

....and their stupid MAA web site won't do a quote for an under 100 cc
    bike either.

    Bastards.

They are the arseholes of the arsehols zebee. I have insured bikes for over
20 years & NEVER claimed. I lose my lic for 6 months for accumulation & now
they wont re-new. Also now when i go to another company, i must disclose
that i have had insurance refused to me. What a pack of dingos !!!

  8. It's a bugger that.

When I lost my license I was told "no insurance for 5 years".

Funny thing is, at the end of the 5 years, I will have a perfect record
(assuming I don't accumulate any points in the next 12 months). So I will go
from no insurance to cheap insurance again.

I'd love to see the statistics that they use to support charging people more
who have lost their license due to speeding things.

  9. It'll be 150% more than it should be, presuming you can't prove a 60% no
    claim bonus.
No statistics involved. It's all excuses!
