Green Lanes

If you go onto www.multimap.com and view a map at 1:25000 the green lanes
and trails appear. marked as red crosses and dots.

OK now here's the interesting bit.
Check this lane out! It's in the sea!!!!!

Following the path, it appears to be a public right of way that is
accessible at low tide. There's a warning a few screens NE of it.

You seem to be managing to ignore inappropriate apostrophes, so I can
only assume that you are semi-symbol blind. Sorry to have to tell you
that.

 

Cool! Beaches you can legally ride on are very few & far between. Btw,
streetmap.co.uk is good for finding trails if you click the the icons
between the + & - buttons to get the right zoom & select the large

Yep that's the right symbol. RUPPs are pretty few & far between though,
& will disappear in the not too distant future. Also, don't forget that
many of the Byways/RUPPs on the map will have been downgraded. The only
way to find out for certain where you can ride is to check the
definitive map at the council offices.

 

Right of way? Yeah right. We all know them green areas are primarily used
for doggers. Actually doggers would be in a nasty surprise on that green
lane. Be warned Sir.Tony.
