I've just been tempted into looking at the "Brake" website. You know,
    "Brake", the so-called road-safety weenies.

"We must all drive at 3MPH except within 400 miles of a school, where it
must be 2MPH with a big red flashing light. And all speeders must be
    shot on sight.", those cunts.

Well, it seems their major sponsor is Green Flag Recovery.

So, I shall no longer be dealing with Green Flag, unless I believe it
    will cost them money.

This has been a Public Information message.

Dichotomy Alert! Surely, the BTCC drivers all drive at *significantly*
    over a walking pace?

    They must all die.

And I don't want any more of my money to go to a bunch of cunts who I
would cheerfully piss on from a great height.

That's what corporate sponsorship is all about, They give the 'charidee'
money, then reap their reward in publicity. In my particular case that
reward is a loss of business, because I believe the 'cause' they're
supporting is fucked in the head.

If you're happy for a proportion of your payment to GF to go to a group
that wants to see you banned from the road, that's up to you.

They did when I went to watch them at Brands, a couple of weeks ago.

And very good it was too.

As were the Porsches... they should be strung up too, what with all that
fast driving and burning of fossil fuels.
Comes to us all in the end... did they not teach you that at school?

No... I made sure I was in a decent enough disguise... ;-)
    Yup.

Donington is next stop for me, and it's a bargain - I've seen a website
offering tickets for that @ £15 a pair.

The only thing that spoilt it for me at Brands, was... well I dunno, I
thought they rigged it so the last lap became a sprint, and exciting as it
was, it didn't seem 'fair' to me; I heard that the car that *had* to be
moved, had been there sometime before they put the flags out.

What's an accidental? In case somebody manages to nearly play a tune on

Ahh, that explains it. And there was me thinking that it's 'cos I've
    never met you!
Do you get to see much of the action at Donnington? Thats the good thing
about Brands Indy circuit, that you can see practically the whole(ish)
of the lap from any place.
Agreed, especially as I was backing Plato to win! I think it would have
been OK to carry on as they were.

We were in the stand at Paddock, right where the Porsche crashed in the
    second race.
Too right, and as for the noise....
    Far too quiet!

    LOL.

You say that like it's a bad thing ;-)

I've never been there yet... I suppose, looking at the track on something
    like TOCA, probably not.

Sure someone else who's actually been there will be along to pass a
    definitive answer along, shortly.
    Definitely.

Anyway, depending on what happens at Snetterton tomorrow, looks like it's
going to be a really close end to the season - the gloves should be off at
Donington, lots of 'bumping and grinding', with any luck!
I kept moving round the track, and resigned myself to standing on the start
    / finish in the end.

How much was it to get on the stand?
    *sigh*

    One day, one day... :)
