Great TV

I know I shouldn't enjoy this, but I loved the sight of those two police
bikes lay on their side on Hot persuit, or something like that which was
just on BBC1.

Also, Frank Skinner show when he was interviewing Mathew Kelly... That has
got to be a classic

 

Yeah, I don't agree. Bit childish to get satisfaction out of that I think. I
actually didn't see that part, but they were in pursuit of somebody who
stole a car or placed the general public in danger?

 

From what I recall, that car wasn't stolen (or not reported as at the time
of the chase?) And it wasn't the whole chase, people in danger thing I was
talking about, just the dropped police bikes.

 

I can think of no greater sight on television than two motorbikes
laying on their sides. Is it being repeated later? I'm everso upset I
missed it. Perhaps I could get someone to do a copy of the video.

I can imagine. I bet your sides are still aching.

Never mind, Big Brother will be back on soon, I'm sure.

Ah, that clarifies things.....nope still not funny. Car being stolen or not
isn't really that important is it......ah **** it, why am I getting into
this argument.

Did you see it?

It was fantastic - Matthew Kelly was basically
grilling Skinner about some poor-taste jokes he (Skinner)
had made when the Kelly case was on. Skinner was
squirming around like a fish on a hook. It was just
nice to see the interviewer having a hard time for a
change.

Why? I just watched it on tape and didn't see anything which made me
leap for joy about a **** knocking over two parked bikes.

Otoh, the copper who was talking through the Novaboy pursuit was lying
through his teeth when he told the camera about the Stinger strip being
pulled back out of his car's path. It was obvious he'd run over it and
probably burst all four of his own tyres.

Now *that* bit made me chuckle.
