Great Service!!(David Sliver Spares) :D

In these days of rip-offs and bad service and automated answering
services located somewhere in space I'd just like to thank and tell a
small story of excellent service.

Some weeks ago I bought a gasket set for my Cx500 from ,

Ready for a de-coke.Did the de-coke but the gaskets blew after only
around 30 to 50 miles.When I took the heads off they had blown really
badly and nothing like I had seem before.Heads were correctly torqued
and re-torqued etc.I just put it down to bad-luck and a bad set of
gaskets.Re-used an old good set with some,"Red-hermatite" to keep me
going,no probs(and still going well).

Anyway.Wasn't too miffed as I've had a lot of good stuff off them
but thought I'd send them back to David Silver to show them as they
had disintegrated pretty badly and thought it may just be a bad
set.Didn't expect a refund as such just hoped I might get another free
set of head gaskets as all the other gaskets in the Set were ok or
some small token gesture.
Got a phone call last Sat morning from them and it may even have
been Mr.Silver himself,don't know as the guy was very
knowledgable.Explained the situation and without pause or thought he
offered me my money back or a replacement set.I thought I could do
with the head gaskets more than the money so said yes to the Gaskets
as I have a spare engine to build.

This morning I received a relacement,"Full Gasket Set"!

Kudos,thanks and respect to a company that seems to actually take care
and pride in it's customers.
I will continue to use them and recommend them.

Agree 100%.

I've had loads of stuff off them, and the service is fantastic. The
prices vary from absurdly cheap (for stuff nobody else wants) to JESUS
CHRIST! for stuff that's in short supply and huge demand (well, he has a
business to run).

 

Great business, if you have a Honda built before the 21st century.
Recommended.
