That's all good. Sadly, the drunken me is loutish, obnoxious,
overbearing and indiscreet. And that's what I'm trying to cut down on.

Oooh, that sounds so familiar, except you missed out the bit about the
overwhelming need to tell everyone what you think of them [1]. Have we
    ever met?

[1] Although your description pretty much covers all bases. To coin a
    phrase.

Funny. I was thinking perhaps we are in fact just one person, with
split personalities, obviously (and you got the half with mechanical
knowledge, and I got the football-stats moron).

  11. Those exceptional circumstances didn't make it hard for her to speak,
then, your cock being in her mouth at the time?

  12. Nah, the drunken you is simply overbearingly interested in things that
he cannot possibly understand in that state of inebriation. Like
extra-galactic physics and stuff. Not that it stops you, of course...
    ;o)

I found out from a 'good friend' after I gave up teaching that I was
"a much nicer person now" because I wasn't drinking as much. This was
before I got duffed up, clearly. That comment in itself was quite
sobering. When you're drunk you don't realise how bad your behavious
can be, and it shocked me to think I'd been running the risk of losing
    friends.

That said, I didn't give up drinking entirely, just cut down massively
    on how much I drank.

Heh, I can see myself there, everything is *so* much easier to understand
    when pissed...
Dunno how inebriated you were at the EOSM but you didn't notice you turn
into some loud drunken girlie. Then again I was well bladdered so I might
    have missed it.

Well many confrabulations, cos you certainly seemed most decidedly concerned
about that (any idea what speed they might have clocked you at?).

A question springs to mind, one that I am sure that at this time you won't
give a **** about (and nor would I in your shoes)... but... if they won't
actually tell you at what speed you were clocked at then isn't that a bit
like being prosecuted without the prosecution evidence being presented to
you before you enter your plea?

Sounds like a wrong'un to me.

    Zobo Kolonie says...
Well, why not? After all they now (apparently) send out fines by the
post in our area for illegal parking rather than slapping the ticket on
    the windscreen.

I say apparently because Mum received one through the post the other
week for parking on double yellows [1]. With a blue badge.

[1] She wouldn't need to park on the double yellows if those other car
drviers taking their kids to McD's for tea didn't park in the disabled
    area.

    Not yet. I thought I was doing 90 in a 50.
The NIP letter is asking who was driving. If then I say it was me, then
they say how fast and what is the next step on the path to justice
    (hah).

  18. the more I hear recounted about the last EOSM the more I am pleased I
    wasn't there!

The photos of Ben B were bad enough but now poems?

    ****!
And you got a fixed penalty?
I thought (presumably incorrectly) that 30+mph over the limit and that was
    it, your ticket was toast.
Fixed penalty means 3 points and whatever fine they care to chuck at you no?

    You lucky bastard!
I've just poured out a pint of Old Speckled Hen, I shall drink it to your
luck sir and hope that some of it rubs off on me when next I need it :)
OIC... OK, as you were then... didn't realise that (never had one meself
    see).

    I don't know if

    http://pepipoo.com/files/ACPO/RPET_Code_of_Pratice_Nov_02.pdf

is up to date or relevant but it does give 2002 ACPO guidelines about
what images should or should not be used with cameras. Page 77 is
quite specific about multiple vehicles in an image which could be
    relevant in your case.

I think you are entitled to view the evidence in order to ascertain
the identity of the driver and verify the vehicle, that's mentioned in
the guidelines somewhere - i have always managed to get a low-res
image posted, and/or offered the opportunity to view the original
image. At least get a photo for the album for your money.

Perhaps it's my convict ancestry, but it strikes me as a bit odd that
they offer you, verbally, a FPN before you send in a signed confession
    for 90(est) in a 50.

You get my Email yesterday ?
