Newcastle I liked, funnily enough, and Birmingham was surprisingly
    not-horrible.

Everywhere else is utter cack. Of that there is no doubt.

Scotland is nice, and I'm inclined to like the jocks, except that they
really do hate the English. And as I'm English, that includes me. So
    they can **** themselves.

I'd rather you didn't. I think the best option would be to send some cash
    now.

Maybe they felt he was beyond saving.

  14. How about sensible tank ranges? Ones I've seen don't seem to be
inclined towards long distances[1], although I may well be missing the
    point.

[1] I have a Bandit 1200, the pot and kettle come to mind...

  15. What is the tank range then?
I'm used to a 10 litre tank that's been tank sealed twice, so probably
9ish litres. That equates to something like [1] 80 miles before you
start to think about petrol stations and maybe 20 miles until I stop.

    [1] Assuming reasonable riding style.

Am I going to suffer the same fate when I find a B12?

    Yes.

I rode from Stansted to Snetterton last summer, to see some clowns throw
a bike down a track. I rode with Adie and Big Tony. When it was
filling up time, we'd all done the same mileage at the same speed. Adie
put in 13 litres. I put in 19.79 (in a 20 litre tank). Big Tony said
he didn't need any and he'd get some at the next stop.

  18. Hey 20 litres is twice what I'm used to.
however I ponder how much difference a 1200 sports vs 800 curiser will
be. Any idea how many miles it was?
