    Hum.

    Economic 87;
    Social 30;
    Cultural 40.

    Socially I didn't include UKRM.

Coat of arms made me chuckle: shield in tenné diagonally split with
Human Courant top left and Games Controller Rampant lower right,
surmounted by a Crown Moyen and flanked by a large garland of
    unexpectedly generous proportions.

I only included those I have met IRL and have shared a drink with[1]. A few
OSMs & French runs soon gets the numbers up.

[1] except sweller who came up to my hotel room to get what he wanted...

Isn't one of the criteria of being a regular to have met and shared a
    drink with other regs?

    Ah

And what of those of us that post irregular drivel on a pseudo regular
    basis?

    No.

Few regulars will ever sup with muddycat but I'd still call him a regular

And the best of it is, I bet he can't remember the last time he drove a
train, if the number of times I have to look at his fizzog peering out
of the ASLEF mag is anything to go by.

does he not do the same as RAF pilots & keep a minimium no. of hours logged
    to keep his "wings" current?

Not that he's likely to return to driving trains for a living.

  14. I assume that if he doesn't drive for 6 months he loses his 'knowledge'
and has to retrain like we do. He may have arranged that he does
refresher days, I don't know if his company works like that.

I have someone on the training course I'm on (I'm now a 'cross transfer'
as I've moved to another line) who's been off work for 2 years and is
having to do the whole course again.

Just got around to doing this[1].

    92/20/60

Got a bit stuck on social. I've had a good social group I reckon, but
most of them didn't seem to fit into any of their boxes, so I scored
low for that. Like most, I included ukrmers only if I've met them at a
social do. However, again, I don't really know what most people do!

[1] Was at home, ill last week with a virus. Hardly touched a PC.

You have my sympathies. I've not been well - as in the usual rude
health - for bloody weeks, there's always been something. The current
grot started Boxing Day and finally manifested as full-blown manflu
some ten days ago. Right at its height, I woke at 3AbloodyM again with
a stabbing pain to the left eye which hasn't gone away as hoped and
will require seeking treatment, I fear.

I've hardly been away from the PC as there wasn't a lot else do do with
my sniffling monocular sad sack of a body. I'm dreading the stats.

  17. I know that the flu jab is only given free to those most at risk the needy
and stuff but doesn't being ginger count as a disability?

Weird - I had a stabbing pain to the eye too, but it went after a day.
I thought it was because I'd worn contact lenses the night before and,
having not worn them for a while, my eyes weren't used to them.
