    Isn't it just.
You've been on dating sites, you know that *everyone* goes to the
cinema (& eats out, & walks in forests/on beaches, & curls up in front
of the fire with a book, & all the other faffy meaningless shit people
    put).

I'm left feeling more short changed as there was no '**** the fucking
opera' option, and nor an 'mmmm the ballet' subtitled with a picture
of Homer Simpson imagining a circus.

They clearly have no idea when it comes to culture.

The eating out question was a bit shit. I ticked 'pubs' as top of the
list, which probably downgrades me, even though the pub I usually go to
    is 18 quid+ for a main course & 7 quid+ for a glass of plonk.

Well, it was generally accepted when _I_ worked in the shipping
industry. With P&O. Doesn't make it true, I know, but...
Booking, tickets, labels, whatever, have nothing to do with it -
that's just a red herring in the Snopes blurb. _If_ the term was used
as claimed, it would almost certainly have simply been a disparaging
term used by the hoi-polloi to describe those rich enough to do the
    journey in the aforementioned style.

Are you finally getting the idea that moving pictures are not
    "culture" then?

Let me get this straight - you went back, created a second account, did
the test again and changed your answers to try and get a better score on
    a class test?

    Hyacinth Bucket, is that you?

I assumed it would be counted as a negative.

  10. You take advice on English from a site which spells colour without a "U".
No wonder all you lower class types jump so quickly when asked to tell the
authorities which social class you want to be.

    yy,ss,w.

I'm genuinely surprised you made the effort to revise the results
upwards rather than the downwards to boost your solid working class
    credentials.

The only form of gambling in which there is no house edge.

So it's not gambling, strictly speaking. Nor, IMHO, are poker and
backgammon, which are games of skill, and over time, a good player
will always beat a bad player. The same could be said of blackjack, if
you're a good enough card counter.

I do know people outside UKRM.

electrician: my brother or numerous people on the Elec Eng BTeC course I
did in 1990. My original job title at Xerox was electrician before they
made me an electronics technician and paid me more.

medical doctor: consultant gasman from Gloucester Royal originally met
via Honda Owners Club. Last seen riding a K1200LT.

    Your results

You scored 92/100 for economic capital.

Your financial resources are higher than the average person in the UK.

You scored 40/100 for social capital.

Your social network is about the same as the average person in the UK.
You scored 60/100 for cultural capital.

Your range of cultural interests is about the same as the average person
    in the UK.

Surprised at the economic capital score, I was only willing to offer
£700 for that BMW Nige mentioned last week ;-)

He's not the only train driver I know and I know several electricians
so I was ok on that part.

I think I scored heavily because I eat out 5 times per week on average
and they didn't say kebabs weren't to be counted.
I don't know anyone I'd classify as being posh from ukrm.
