Can someone easily define the correct usage of "myself", "himself",
    yourself" etc.

I keep hearing people say things like "I decided to refer it to
yourself", which I'm sure should be "I decided to refer it to you",
but before I go postal abouit it at work I thought I'd seek a ruling
    here.

It is a bloody annoying trait - dunno where it has sprung from but seems
    to be very common.

Here's one for you: is it correct for people to use the expression 'for
free'? To me it sounds like it should be either 'for nothing' or 'free
    of charge'.

I'm reading "Watching the English" by Kate Fox ATM and she lists the "seven
deadly sins"; seven words that middle-middle class people or lower use which
mark them as being beneath the upper and upper-middle classes.

Some of them ("dinner" when used to describe the midday meal, "sweet" used
to mean the dessert course of a meal and "settee") I would have picked up
on, but the other 4 ...

Did anybody else here know that it's very middle class to use "pardon"[1],
    "lounge", "toilet" or "serviette"?

[1] Jilly Cooper apparently heard her son tell one of his friends that,
"Mummy says that 'pardon' is much worse word than '****'".

Apparently using "what?" in place of "pardon" and "bog" instead of "toilet"
are both acceptable to the upper-classes, the latter only if you are
    obviously being ironic.

I meant "lounge" in the sense of a room in one's house, but "heap" might do.
