Where I work in Fulham, West London, there has been a black GPZ with its
front faring bashed in, parked against the wall outside our office for what
must be close on to two years now. The rest of the bike seems pretty much
pristeen but for some rust on the exhaust that's setting in.

We have to see it every day, and have been hoping the owner would take it
away. It hardly leaves a good impression on prospective clients when they
leave our plush offices to be confronted with what we now assume is an
    abandoned wreak.

If anyone would like to make arrangements to rid us of this eyesore in
whatever manner is best for you, then mail me and I'll gladly tell you where
    to find it.

Just because it's a bit beaten up doesn't mean it's not a runner or a
    going-concern.
Are you *sure* the bike isn't being used daily? The owner might just work
    longer hours than you
    This is uk.rec.motorcycles not uk.rec.motorcycles.thieves !

Phone the council or the police.
If you get no joy then arrange for one of your work colleagues to 'trip'
over it. Then get them to report the 'accident' in writing.
