The Rider is $599 and the Zumo is $999+. I don't know for sure, but I
don't believe the Zumo comes with a bluetooth headset for the helmet.
The website says "Connect zūmo to your Bluetooth-enabled headset/
helmet and cell phone to make and receive hands-free calls" which
tells me that you have to provide your own. The Rider comes with one
    and has a better mount.

If the price doesn't sway you, then the bluetooth headset should....

to these Harley riders you know. They cant be looking like they have
some after market crap on there fine chrome motorcickles.

thats sure right RedShad, u notice I keep my discount unit stashed in one of
the secret compartments on the Voyager. I don't give a shit how lost, I will
not mount it while in an area with a lot of traffic where someone to sneak a
glance at it. No way I can see something like that on MK'sHD.

Don't know. Just trying to help out with GPSs. The more discussion
about it, helps me to make up my mind of which one to choose.

I've *got* to get something for my Bird. It's like that's the only
thing missing to make it completely droolable....and drool factor is
the most important part of any motorcycle.

I'm not really looking at the bluetooth for the phone, but rather
directions. The Rider will give you voice prompts through the headset.

Thats whats nice about my new ride. With 6 speaker surround sound and
60 watts per channel, I believe I can hear the voice pretty clear.

    There you go.
There's after market stuff, and then there's Harley, a completely
different category, all the difference in the whole USA way.

Us old riders, rode ''everywhere'' like louie said, and shit we got
there, had fun, took a few pictures with our ''film loaded'' cameras,
bunched up to check the maps, and went on to another destination.
When we got home, we had them pictures developed, and we showed 'em off,
or mailed 'em around to folks.

My newest, fanciest thing, is the tank pack. It has a place on top just
for a good map, or self-written directions. (RNstyle)

But, times have changed, and I try to change, except this cute little
    Webby.

We're getting a new TV Satelite, called DirectTv today, and will have us
one of them DVR doomafotches. (chuckles)

Another thing his motorcycle doesn't have is a trailer....do any of
your motorcycles have a trailer to go with them....maybe even under
    them?

I can buy the Zumo 550, off the shelf in a Calgary store for $920
Canuck bucks. That's about $780 in your money.

Radioworld out of Toronto has it for $900 Canadian. The 450 is a
    little cheaper.
