I would like to let the great unwashed know my experiences from GPS
Warehouse (www.gpsw.co.uk) - it has gone to show how a bad customer
experience can be turned into a swift resolution.

On the morning of Friday 15th December I ordered a Garmin Streetpilot
2610 (waterproof) + the motorcycle RAM mount accessory kit which added
up to £239.99 + P&P. It was posted Monday and arrived Tuesday
    afternoon as promised.

On Tuesday evening noticed the the car cigarette lighter speaker &
power cord were incorrect. The solo cigarette lighter cord wouldn't
fit into the back of the Garmin: Wrong shape.

I called GPSW on their 0208 number Wednesday afternoon and they
informed them that Garmin had put the wrong attachment in several of
the unts they had sold but would get a replacement out. On Friday
(yesterday) their replacement turned up. However, they had shipped
another 'beanie mount' (Same thing as this:

So another phone call later I got put through to a lady who infromed
me Garmin had put the wrong cord in with my unit and it wasn't their
fault. While I understand the fault may have initially been with
Garmin, but sending the wrong replacement unit out can't really be the
fault of Garmin, but GPSW. She didn't apologise for GPSW's error but
said the right speaker/power cord would be sent.

Posted Friday (yesterday) arrived today which happens to be Saturday,
23rd December. I would liked to have been more positive about my
experiences with GPSW but will just leave it as 7/10 because of the
lack of an apology. Quick delivery though. Well done Royal Mail.
