Changed me mind to putting my gps on a handlebar mount, my gps will fit
above the clocks on the transalp just fine, allowing me to see the idiot
    lights.

But to do so, i need something slim on a stalk that i can fit onto the top
of the instrument binicle/dash, but be slim enough not to foul the screen
which is about an inch above i rekon, it then needs an arm that will point
forwards (as in towards my, so backwards really), to which i can fit the gps
    holder to.

Any suggestions, of have i totaly confoozled everyone again,

Cant find waht i want there, i am looking for something like
    http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/rap-sb-192.htm

But with the ball comming out at a 90 degree angle, flat with the mounting
plate, i.e. so the holder can only be attatched to the ball if the mount is
fixed so the ball overhangs the thing it's mounted to.

I got my guessing measurments wrong again tho, got at least 2 inches between
dash top and screen, but the dash top is curved, nut i plan to geat a mount
base up and bend it to the curve, assuming it's plastic of course.

ALSO i ordered the gps cradle from gps whorehouse, who ram say to get their
stuff from, and the fekin thing still isnt here, the bits i ordered from
ebay, 2 seperate places arrived in 2 days, but the most importiant bit no
sign of it, and no notice to say it's out of stock.
