    Yes.
What do you want to know ?
A mapping unit is the easiest to use but the 'cheap' mapping units
start about $550 and they go up from there

    Cheers,

I bought a new Magellan Meridian GPS off eBay about 12 months ago for
$400ish. Works well, but can be a bit slow to update at times. Good at
making sure your heading to the bit of twisty road you spotted on the map.

You can get a motorcycle mount and cigarette lighter adapter for it, but I
haven't. Works best in an upright position, so in the clear compartment of
a tank bag is not optimal.

On a serious note ... damm ... who thought one could be imformative!, there
is an article in the latest two wheels regarding use and the road trip that
followed using a Magellan GPS unit. It was set up by and sold through
www.gpsoz.com.au who apparently specialise with bike fittings and
paraphernalie. Give them a go I guess and see how things work out. They are
    based in Sydney.

  19. One must expect this around these parts.
Might go down to Albert Park on Sat morning and talk to the BMW guys
who have a late breakfast/early lunch there every Sat morn at Laurant,
    Boulangerie Patisserie, 109 Dundas Pl,
No, have a speaking appointment elsewhere.
No, I'll be in NZ at the BEARS Sound of Thunder race meeting, plus I
have shipments to unload and another to load for the return journey.

    Kind regards
