  3. Ian submitted this idea :
I tend to agree that it is a little too small for both, but it has
voice directions which more than compensate. Make the screen bigger and
it no longer fits in your pocket so easily and becomes more awkward to
    mount on the bike.

  4. dwb explained on 27/04/2005 :
Mapsource is updated very regularly and the updates are a free
    download.
V6 and V7 do on both the PC and the Quest.

  5. Mapsource on the Quest can and does do recalcultion of the route, if
    you stray off it.

Deluo Blackbox might be a good BT option

The Quest is great. Light, so easily mounted with a RAM kit without
dancing in front of one's eyes, and does the biz.

No direct entry of post codes yet - uk.rec.gps has yet to respond on the
    first real question... :(

Indeed, and with fiddly buttons too. The Navman I bought the missus
has a bigger screen and touch-screen operation, making it much more
usable. The display options are better too.

Dunno. Prolly not, but I don't see that as an issue, poisonally. If
I'm going to use it on the bike I'll just put it in the window on the
tank bag anyway, I imagine, with something to hold it in place.
