Rode between Warragul and Inverloch today, so if anyone's thinking of
taking the Warragul-Korumburra or Warragul-Korumburra-Inverloch road for
the GP, I can tell you that the road is not too bad. The farken big dip in
the road at Tetoora Road feels as though it's dropped another metre, but
aside from a few ugly bits - especially through Strzelecki - on the road
verge now and again, is in good shape as far as Korumburra. The road from
Korumburra to Tulloch Road (the turn-off for Inverloch) is OK, but
deteriorates to almost poor around Jumbunna, especially thru the really
steep section (10 per cent grade). Again, once you hit the costal flats
just past the turnoff the road's pretty ordinary, with about 4km of
corrugated bitumen. You can open the throttle, but the tyres sing louder
    the faster you go.
If anyone hasn't travelled this route, it's worth it for the twists and
scenery, and beats the hell out of the South Gippsland Highway gridlock. -
