On top of all the recent whining from Lorenzo about Simoncelli's riding
style (I think Rossi and Edwards have the measure of it), they're now
saying they don't want to race at Motegi because of the 'nuclear
    problem'.

What a bunch of fucking girls!

    From MCN's MotoGP chap...

Seems Dovi, Elias, Stoner, Lorenzo and Barbera all went to Safety
Commission meeting yesterday to raise concerns about Simoncelli's riding

Spoke at length to Marco tonight and he's getting tired of scrutiny and
    tired of the complaints

Lots of talk about Motegi race today. Seems riders were told race is on,
but lots of anxiety. Lorenzo said he doesn't want to go

Rossi, Stoner, Dovi and Simoncelli have also expressed some concerns
about safety of racing in Japan 'cos of nuclear issue

'A lot of riders have come to me and said they are scared to go to
    Motegi.' Rossi quote tonight.

Lorenzo said tonight even some Japanese members of Yamaha team believe
too risky to host Motegi race in October

It's a fucking race, not a parade, no **** says anything when Rossi &
    Lorenzo swap paint.
**** me shitless, you are more likely to die on the cunting plane getting
    there.

FWIW i rather like Simoncelli & his riding style, he goes for it good &
    proper.

    Wankers.

Motegi. Just Google mapped it. The Japanese sure go all out sometimes.
I count at least 15 separate courses at the complex, including kiddie
    tracks.

I wasn't sure about him to begin with, but I really want him to win
tomorrow. Unless it rains, then I'd like Edwards to win.

Who's never won a GP race in his life. He's a foul mouthed Yank who can't
speak (or write) a sentence without slipping in the word "shite" or "****",
and just because he's your brother doesn't make him a top bloke. Or even a
    fucking top bloke.

    Now... GFY.

    :)

..and there, unfortunately, is the scare factor of a sensationalist
press corps misinforming an under-educated public.

As far as I'm aware there is *NO* public health risk from radiation
anywhere outside the reactor site itself. ...and not much within it, either.

  10. I used to think he was a bit of a twat but he really is an
entertaining, balls-out rider. I'd rather like him to do well now.
Come on now, "shite" from an American - impressive.

Considering this is UKRM, is that an insult or a compliment?

There was a interesting BBC radio programme on the legacy of Chernobyl.
It claimed that the total deaths from the explosion, tackling the fire,
clear up and subsequent cancers was only around 100.

Why does your choice of rider to win depend on the weather?

I can understand different riders have advantages in different
conditions but I don't see why it alters your choice.

Beav's a bit wierd about some things - he doesn't drink, for a start -
so his odd ideas are generally just ignored.

I'd quite like Edwards to win generally but given the satellite Yamaha
team's performance in the dry it's not even a remote possibility.

Anyhow, it was a good race this time round I reckon.

It was, but a bit of a harsh punishment I felt. I think I'd have gone
    with the time penalty.

  20. Agreed , any punishment needs to be given after not during the race
