Whew... Left during a sprinkling rain and got drizzled on, off and on until
we got back.. LOL.. Soon as we'd run out of it and commence to dry out a
bit, we'd hit another patch of drizzle, just enough to get wet again..

We ran out through the west side of Ft.Worth to Jacksboro, then cut south to
Possum Kingdom.. <chuckle> there were a few bikes out running, but not
many.. We kind of toured the scenics around the lake and found us a little
restaurant that advertised Catfish on their sign.. Would you believe that
none of us ordered the fish ? After seeing what was being served to the
other diners, I don't think anyone had a taste for it.. Didn't even look
    good..

We made the run back through Mineral Wells and Weatherford, and by that
time, everyone had enough for this day.. Wet, dry.. Wet, dry.. was just a
    little too much..

All told.. it was a pretty nice littel ride, considering.. The Green Vulcan
was ginning right along, as usual .. hmmm.. I gotta admit, those old
Harley's ran pretty damn good, also.. even though, it was easy to tell, they
were having some problems keeping up, when I hit I-20 and nailed the
Vulcan.. ROTFL... that's a joke, guys..

Looks like some more rain might be on the way, so today might be the last
little day run for a while.. Cheers..

Riding in the rain is fun for the first 10 miles, then it gets old, quick.

Thanks for posting, Bill. I enjoyed the ride-along.

LOL... It's one thing to be caught out on the road, in a storm.. it's
another thing to take off when the weather is bad, like it was..

Now. I'm left with some boots to dry out and a very nasty motorcycle to
clean up.. <grin> I've invited those "good friends" over to have a little
"clean up party".. That's fair, isn't it ?

You got that, just right.. LOL
Entirely welcome..George.. hehe.. I have to admit that I was just a bit
embarrassed to admit that I'd been suckered into doing this one.. Those
buddies of mine are too damn persuasive.. 'sides.. I'm too damn old to be
doing this kind of stuff.. Regards..

LMAO.. scared that ponytial is going to get wet, or what ?

I don't blame you.. Sheesh.. I got home and had to use a boot jack to get
these wet boots off.. Both were full of water and will probably take at
least two days to dry out.. hmmm... that's what I get for not wearing those
chaps of mine, right ? Ah well.. it'll dry out one of these days and we'll
all be crying for a little raincloud.. Good luck on that trip..

We'll be leaving here on about the 20th of June for the Arizona trip and
then in August or thereabout for the Mexico run.. Too bad that you won't be
around for those two.. They are always good trips, no matter what the
    weather is doing... Later..

Well, great. This day, ya'll were able to atleast not leave in the rain.
I don't wanna Leave a hard rain, but if it rains while riding, I will
have ta deal with it, like ya'll did. I assume ya'll had gear on?
Sounds like ya'll enjoyed the ride.
    Did Brian ride with ya'll?
That's a funian'un about the ole Harleys trying to keep up with the
