Yesterday was blistering hot.. I don't have a clue what the heat index was,
but that thermometer in the patio was reading well over 100 degrees and it
    was in the shade.. Whew..

The idea was to get the chores done and all the bills paid before it got
that hot.. Rebecca had already briefed us that we could expect it.. so. me
and the Green Vulcan just got us an early start.. While I was making the
rounds of the couple of bills that need to tended to, I realized that I was
sure running late and by the time I got through visiting at the Sears store,
the heat had already closed in, strong..

Verizon was the next stop and by the time I finished making them happy, it
was really hot.. The final little rat killin' that needed taking care of,
was picking up the oil to change in the Green One.. <chuckle> By the time I
got back in La Casa, the heat was nothing short of oppressive.. Ain't gonna
be any oil changing on the mexican's patio, this day.. A/C here we come..
    LOL

‘‘Aint it the truth’’ it is record setting hot this
summer. Last Year it barely reached 95* around here. When it is 100*
in Denver, there's something going on. I know what cha mean about
chores. Honey has got me in to painting the inside of our Home on the
farm, heehee. Of course, I like painting stuff. I don't let stuff
stay the same color very long. (chuckle). AS far as riding, Bill, it
aint much fun to me, when its this hot. I havent rode much in the last
week. It is so damn hot, sitting at a redLight. But we're planning
the Ark. HOG Rally in about a month. I do get out once a week and play
a round of Golf, but we go early.
    cheers, (BJAY)
