went to get it from the yard it was stored and it started first kick, after a quick check over that there was no chassis / fork etc etc damage, it appears to be mainly cosmetic [1] So rode it home [1] for relative levels of cosmetic given its ratlike state anyway. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d33/Donegal_Paul/bitsandbobs/eibarcrash/eibardamage_07.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d33/Donegal_Paul/bitsandbobs/eibarcrash/eibardamage_01.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d33/Donegal_Paul/bitsandbobs/eibarcrash/eibardamage_02.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d33/Donegal_Paul/bitsandbobs/eibarcrash/eibardamage_03.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d33/Donegal_Paul/bitsandbobs/eibarcrash/eibardamage_05.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d33/Donegal_Paul/bitsandbobs/eibarcrash/eibardamage_06.jpg -- Donegal Paul Eibar Li186 Series II www.thepilgrimssc.co.uk www.glitterbydesign.co.uk Getting into racing for 2007!!
That has got to be one of the shonkiest scooters I have ever seen. I'm surprised you noticed any damage.
Oh dear, that's not good. I mean it is good from your pov, apart from having to ride that 'thing', but it's not good, in that it's fucked, but previously fucked, rather than accident fucked. Which isn't good. I think I've made myself clear. Paging Champ - you may want to hold off on that engraving. Up until now I was the under the impression that you liked scooters. These crashes you've had, I think it's your subconcious trying to tell you something. You claim that guy in the civic didn't see you. He saw you clearly, it's just that he had an automatic response to take out that monstrosity.

He was actually trying to do you a favour. The problem was that he was so blinded by it's hideousness, that he didn't see you were riding it.
There's an old post somewhere that describes a bin as requiring repairs costing a ground or over 25% of the value of the bike. Now it looks to me like the tax disc holder is knackered - jobs a good'un. Anyway, the rider of pictured vehicle surely deserves some kind of trophy.
