Got to ride down to Ashford tomorrow at first sparrowfart as BT is supposed
to turn up to reconnect the phone in the morning. Yeah, right.

Got to shift my ShiteOldHeaps down there anyway so I was thinking of riding
down and taking the train back, but I don't want to go Motorway all the way.

Anybody got a good routing suggestion from say, the A2/M25 interchange?

  4. Yes. From A2/M25 head down to M20/M25 (M25 J3) junction and take the
    A20.

    Job done.

Otherwise take A2 to Bluebell Hill, then A229 then A20.

Yebbut there's only a short section of non-dual carriageway up to the
A262. Apropos of nothing, Lamberhurst has a lovely bypass now.
