  8. It came as part of the kit (Dave Silver). I wasn't expecting individual
    packaging for the balls. I'll be assembling it all in an almost lab
    environment cos one of them is bound to fly off somewhere.

    Bin-liner-sized plastic bags (clear ones, obviously) are really useful.
    I sometimes modify camera lenses, which have the added excitement of
    unexpected, tiny springs. Bacon saved on several occasions that way.

  11. You obviously haven't seen a real lab. When yer lab is the size
    of a cathedral and full of gantries and lifting machineriy and dozens
    of people welding, painting, spannering, stringing cables... I think the
    idea of clear plastic containment bags is very sensible!
