SIDS have been a real **** to work with, but he is sticking with this
    to the
    end.
Pls support it if ya can and spread the word. All money goes to
    charity.

    Bikers for SIDS and Kids

November 9 2008 - To be run in conjunction with the 4WD Trek for SIDS
    and
    Kids.

Starting at Newcastle foreshore at 8am - Departing at 10:30am

The ride will take in about 40-50km and end up at the same place as
    the 4WD
trek at Rathmines Park. Entry is $20 per motorcycle.

Entrants will receive a red nose, stickers and a pen (not sure exactly
    what
will be handed out just yet)

There will be a trophy and polishing kit for the best Show 'n Shine
    Plus a
trophy for the rider/bike that can dress up as a red nose

There will be a charity auction run at the end, and all money raised
    goes to
    the SIDS and Kids foundation.

The bike riders need to show that they ALSO have a big heart....
    especially
when it comes to child related charities. And i think the SIDS and
    Kids -
Hunter Region, provides a very worthwhile service to those that have
experienced the loss of a child.

It was James' dedication to this cause that made me feel like i should
    get
off my ass and help as well.

So far i have a few Ulysses Branches interested.... but i want to get
    ALL
    motorcyclists involved.

    Pass the word around

for more info you can PM me through here, or
    email to

I was involved with a club that ran a SIDS fundraiser drive and I have
to say we found the same thing... good on him for sticking with it.

It's just a shame that some 'big fish in a little pond' control freak
types have to make life hard to people just trying to help out (and more
of a shame that their attitude reduces fundraising efforts).

That is it down to the ground 100%. I would have given up long ago..
But it was his niece, and we are behind him for the cause. He wanted
to make it annual!!!! but hes fuckin over that now.

That and the fact that some fuckin cock drove around to the sponsors,
stating he was there to pickup the donations and stole the fuckin lot.

As I said, I'd have given up by now.
