Which is more of what I expected rather than the "lights on are
(potentially) dangerous". I guess I expected you to take an 'active
action' towards your own safety rather than a passive one. **** it... I
know what I mean.

In the case of the two incidents I was referring to, neither were at
junctions.
Both were cars pulling out to overtake - how do you anticipate that then
over and above
considering they're going to do it and riding off the road?

Hmm, interesting. Is it the same situation in car alternators, or are
the magnets in them 'uns electro-wotsit ones?

It's just, being a miserly ****, I've always begrudged the electricity
used by lights and indicators and if I can justifiably stop worrying
about that, then perhaps I can stop driving like a **** and start
indicating and using lights at night and stuff. Hmmm what?
