How did you drop 13.75 points out of a possible 2115, ffs?

Top result for Graham, mind. :)

For those of you still reading, this is to do with the RBR results
    sheet.

Graham, having undergone an "Auvache Special" in early March,
considered his GL1000 outfit a bit cumbersome whilst recovering, so,
with his consultant's approval, he promptly got a 100% All Rounder's
award (every landmark correctly photographed) on a solo bike...

    A Chituma AX-100.

    Rather him than me.

    <modesty forbids, etc> :)

I knew that swamping Dave with suggestions for the "real" spitfire
    monument would work.

Mine bloody didn't. He threatened to shop me to the DVLC and have me
licence taken away for longer than Kev if I didn't stop riding me bike.

    Kin respect.

He lets you drive a car but not ride a bike?

I suppose that there is more potential stress on a bike but even so,
hard cheese old boy; you have my sympathy.

I am not sure about the arithmetic for the points deduction, but I
made the rash assumption that the the well in Scotlandswell was the
spring used by the monks to cure the sick and that the open ground
alongside was the site of the old hospital:-

    http://www.gomezz.f2s.com/RBR2003WebAlbum/photos/photo_81.html

I should have checked with the amiable old geezer in the photo who was
filling up loads of plastic containers from the well. That's a Scot
with a water meter for you :)

Congratulations on your 100% award. Are you going to the dinner?

Now it is all healed up so isn't an issue and yes I did take up the
point with him and he was not really able to defend it.

Although his description of just how big an area my lungs would cover if
they escaped after my chest happened to split open in a minor tarmac me
interface situation was a bit compelling.

When I discussed it with him, he did see that there was likely to be
less actually physical stress while riding a bike (at anything above
manoeuvring speeds) than when driving he did, as I said, have the fall
back of *any* accident, however minor, being probably fatal.

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, platypus
With a signwritten legend on the tank "Tender to GoldWing", presumably?

Mate of mine used to have a *lovely* clinker built 36 foot ketch called
"Mexicali Rose". Her rather shabby tender was called "Tijuana Lil",
    which always made me smile.

All I knew was that it was on the SE edge of the village, then I
spotted "Priory Close". The rest, as they say, was simple good luck.
Ah. See, if you'd done the 2001 RBR you'd have already got a piccie of
that. That said, you'd already have a piccie of Maen Achwyfan, too, so
    that's no help.
Ta. I'm a bit perplexed really; it seems Dave had a change of heart
about the Bonus Spitfire thingy. Perhaps I was allowed some leeway
    after all that walking. :)

    Dinner: Aye.

  15. "The Ego Has Landed"? That was shit, right enough.

Anyway, back to ABTF - John Peel was listed in the credits, but was it
JP of R1 fame or another actory type of the same name?

I think there was mass confusion over this one which may be the topic
of David's keynote speech at the dinner :)

But it was just full of fairly new houses. Wasn't it? I can see I am
going to have to a do a blooper-correction tour which, so far,
includes this, Rogers Tower (I flunked the walk), the "other"
(non-clapper) Birks Bridge and the expected James Brindley memorial.
