I installed my radio and went on two trips - about a 1300 miles total.
About 800 miles after install the radio started acting like it was keying
after I would hit a bump and this eventually turned into no transmitting and
the ERROR CB message in the little display up front.

I would think it was the CB box was bad except for one small issue. I
currently can't turn the CB off from the handlebar controls or the controls
in the center console which leaves me to winder if something else is awry?

    Any advise?

Well, I would make sure all the wiring is secure and the connections
    tight.
Have you used a power washer on the bike recently? Dielectric grease
on the electrical connections would help keep any water out. I don't
think it could be anything else if the problem isn't with the unit
    itself.

Let me ask you a question. Did you have to tune your antenna with an
    SWR meter on your Wing?

Oobviously, all that vibration from that paint mixer, tooth loosening,
retirement plan excuse for a motorcycle made some wires get loose.
Either that or those japanese STILL haven't figured out how to do
elecrtonics. (Even though 90% of the kids at MIT , Stanford and CalTech
are from there and then going back there to eat our lunch, with out own
intellectual property. Why we allow that I'll never understand.)

Get a real bike! Who needs a CB and Radio anyway? Next thing you'll want
is an air-bag! Oh! Wait, they already got those!

Buy a Taurus with air and a radio then go to RatShack for the CB.
    Cheaper.

    (ps... i'm kidding. kinda')
