For GoldWing riders, please read these recent GWRRA
    comments concerning a footpeg breakage.
    http://bbs.gwrra.org/board/messages/11/170522.html?1208555128

As the participants mention, I frequently rely on my foot-
pegs to support my full body weight when adjusting a
seating position, absorbing terrain, etc. I'm sure many
here have/will done/do the same thing.

It doesn't take a lot of imagination to envision what will
result if a footpeg were to break during one of these full
    weight support requirements.

I certainly hope/believe this report is only an isolated
incidence. But apparently, it is possible.

    Please be safe....

    This one cracked me up...

"How do you get on the back, jump of a wall or out a
window?"...speaking to the person who said you should never stand on
the pegs to mount or dismount on the front or rear pegs...

Now I'm going to safety check all my footpegs on the bikes and see if
    they break....brb!

I resemble that remark and I am deeply hurt by your insensitivity.

Hey, it's fatcracks like us that make you look so thin.
Hell, with me and Big Ed standing next to you, you look like work out all
    day.
