Golden Gate Cycle (SF) - Vulcan 750

  1. Hi,

I'm new to this group, but I heard it's a great place for information.

I've researched numerous motorcycles and am looking to purchase a new
Kawasaki Vulcan 750. I've been to Golden Gate Cycle in San Francisco (and
they have in stock), but I've seen negative reviews about the dealership.

Anyone have experience with them or have any insight? I'm looking at the
'big picture', not just buying the bike and hoping I never have to go there
again for repairs. Obviously, I could go to another dealership (the ones in
the surrounding bay area don't currently have in stock and I live in SF),
but didn't want to bypass this place 'cause of one sites negative reviews.

    Thanks for your help.

  2. Try everywhere else first!
Motorcycles Unlimited in Corte Madera (Marin) has always given square deals.
Sometimes even better than square deals, just to make room on the floor.

  3. It's negative reviews from virtually all of them, though to be honest that
perception has ridden on history for a long time now. It's quite possible
that they reformed their ways. OTOH, a coworker's experience recently
was right in line - several hundred dollars spent to get a bike still not
    working well.

Maybe it's an SF thing? I for one will never be taking my boxer back
    to SF BMW.
