It's on my list of must-do biking destinations, together with the
Auvergne just to the North. Really must find time this summer,
especially if there's a free bed and beer to be had :)

There are *loads* of PM jobs in Dubai atm. I turned one down just a
    couple of weeks ago.

Any jobs for general networking / infrastructure design skills, with
security, windows and MS backoffice type skills on the side?

I'm plan to go to a mate's 50th birthday party in Bergerac for the 9th
July - fancy meeting up somehow/somewhere for a couple (or more) days
    hooning?

Permanent move but returning back here every now and then to 'work' and get
money in to tide me over....
Its a nice ride from Cahors down the D911 to Millau too, so you can cause
more congestion looking at the viaduct that was supposed to relieve the
    congestion, IYSWIM.

    You got a
3 spare rooms and an office. And the basement. :)
That *soooooo* 2004! So about 20 years ahead of the timewarp the village is
living in. Which is good 'cos I reckon stainless steel IKEA tat was in in
1984 and, therefore, the fittings will blend right in...

We haven't had the expansion yet. Everything takes forever with the

  10. A friend went to work in Dakar, Senegal, about 20 years ago. I got a letter
[that's how long ago it was] saying, "People sometimes sneer at the
supposedly primitive conditions they imagine we contend with out here. This
is grossly unfair. There is gas. There is electricity. There is water.
Occasionally we have all three on the same day."

I'll certainly give it some though. Diary seems to be empty. So that's
a yes then, I reckon, spousal permission notwithstanding.

Incidentally, I still haven't ruled out the possibility of a June
Acefest/hoon down to the alps if anyone's still interested...

I'd love to, but I suspect most of June will be spent in planning and
prep for the 24 hour race (last weekend of June).

ISTR it was around the 9th or so than the Bonners are doing their late
honeymoon to Italy, so the idea was to meet up with them at some point
on their way back, possibly ending at ours with some fest-y type thang
and/or a blat up through the Vosges. AFAICR neither of them have
actually ridden the roads around here except as pillion...

Done. Pat and I are staying 14th and 15th August at Cabrerets, just
round the corner from St Cirq Lapopie, so a meal would be nice!

Often monthly. Sometimes weekly. Rarely annually.
No but they almost always come with accommodation and vehicle provided
at no cost. And there's no tax.
    Like everywhere else, yes.
