"This is a cylinder block for Kawasaki Z 1300 A1.

It has slight damage to the bottom of one liner as pictured but this
probably will not affect it running as it is not near the working
    surface."

Yes... Hmm... That would be the fucking great lump smashed out of the
    liner then, would it?

    It's only a tenner, ffs.

In contrast, the drive shaft/bevel box they sent me is almost "mint".

    £24 plus postage. Luvvly.

btw, the Wing gained a bit more bling today.

Spill. Frankly, after the "Rings Of Fire" I think I'm fighting a losing

Chrome side cover for the fairing position lights.

Goes well with the chrome rad vents/scoops.
Ah. The RoF have yet to burn. They're on, but no amount of power will
    get the to light.

Here's my botched/bodged battery, as an aside.

    http://www.salad.dodger.dsl.pipex.com/terminal.jpg

Seems to work okay. <crosses fingers>

    <hopeful>

Any idea what to do about my non-round rear tyre?

Apart from lobbing it in the bin?

I'll get me ruler out, and take some measurements. I can do basic
bending and cutting [1] - trouble is, I was a bit light on the raw
    materials front.

This is only a "prototype". Honest.
    Heh.

  12. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Salad Dodger
Reading of your loose terminal, did you use split or shakeproof washers?

No. The problem was the "fixing" of the "captive" nut in the terminal
housing itself. The bolt was still tightly attached to the nut.

Well, they were good enough to pay me silly money for that old Watsonian
chassis I had cluttering up the shed. The plan, avowedly, is to tidy it up
and hang it on a Hardley. The actual sidecar will be a spaceship off a
fairground ride, to be painted in super-naff red, green etc metalflake.

They're worse than me. I'd recommend smiling a lot and carrying a tazer...
