  1. Law that deals with consumers.
    No and no.

But there are legal bods who specialise their knowledge in the
intricacies of the laws that pertain to consumerism, as opposed to
    matrimonial or conveyancing or whatever.

  2. yes I did.
unless you want me to cite every single law that could be involved in a
consumer case, in which case you can **** right off and look it up yourself.

    You didn't answer my question.
    Which are?

Why would I want to - I know them already. What I want to know about is
this concept you call "consumer law".
    No they're aren't.

    So why are you asking?
    jeez, this isn't difficult.
    laws - which - pertain - to - acts - of - consumerism.
How much plainer can I put it - especially if you already know>

Well it depends on what you call "many", I guess a dozen acts and many
other regulations, constitutes "many" to me. And no, I don't know them
all inside and out and back to front, but that's because I'm not a
lawyer specialising in that kind of service. Nor have I ever claimed
    otherwise.

  6. Ahh selective snipping, gotta love it.

At no point have I claimed to be. I have merely stated my opinions based
on issues I have dealt with. Molly knows this, as does every other ****
    on here, including yourself.

Thank you. Now, what were you saying about Molly's claim against Suzuki?

And what's the problem with that. All I'm pointing out [1] is that you
have no real idea what you're talking about.
Sure. But you've admitted that your knowledge in this field is somewhat
limited. And your opinions were not just expressed once, but repeated
times. And almost all of your clueless posts implied that everyone else
was either being plain thick or just wrong.

[1] Which to be fair, is fairly obvious anyway.

  9. it leads to out of context quoting.
out of interest, which area do you specialise in?

Except that my quote wasn't out of context.
In terms of business sector, reinsurance. And in relation to what areas
of law affecting that business sector? Everything, which includes
contract and tort, which all "consumer law" essentially boils down to.

But it also boils down to the crux of the matter.

You *really* don't want to be arguing with Kiran about this, just as I
don't expect people to argue with me about optical network management,
and you don't expect people to argue with you about sticking bits of
    metal in you.
So, to win an argument about law, you're going to ask a lawyer what
area he specialises in, and if it's not the area that the debate
concerns, you hope it will show him to be wrong and you to be right?

No, no, old boy, that isn't how it works. See, if Kiran isn't a
specialist in "consumer law", that doesn't mean you *are*.

Your footnote was right, it really didn't need you to point it out,
