    Point of order - the Manx GP does not allow 1000cc fours - the biggest
    are 750 fours or 1000cc twins.

    There's several reasons for this.

    1. It's not the bike, it's the rider. All the good guys are on 600s,
    cos no one is racing 750s nowadays.

    2. 600s are the latest hot poop - 750s are old hat. Even tho the
    GSX-R 750 is up to date, no one is racing them, so there's no
    expertise out there to make them go fast, handle, etc. And the good
    600s are really fast now - making 120 bhp at the rear wheel (i.e. only
    10hp less than my bike and weighing a lot less)
