Glove protectors? Dry Fingers? What are they called?

Many Melbourne couriers use handlebar mounted glove covers in winter to
let them use light gloves and keep their hands warm and dry. I'm trying
to describe these things to someone on the far side of the world and I
can't remember what they're called or find a website showing them.

Can anyone point me to a website showing them?

    Graham.

Mitts, Muffs. If Oxford UK have a website then you'll be able to find a pair there.

Back in the "old days" we called them "buggy mitts".

A mate has a pair and the right one operates the brake light at highway
speeds. It can get pretty dangerous riding behind him if the light is on
all the time and he suddenly puts on the brakes. Check yours out with
following riders if you end up with some.

Crumpler also used to have these but they're a deleted line now. They
call them toasters. I got one of the last pairs at the Barkly St shop.
They're excellent although I had problems with the left one depressing
the clutch at anything over about 80. I've had heaps of couriers in
the last few months ask if I'd lost one. With Summer coming I can at
least look a little more symmetrical now.

Thats what I thought I remembered them being called, but google turns up
nothing for that name. Seems there is at least one business left in the
world with no web presence whatsoever!

Someone has emailed me pointing me to this site which is ideal for what
    I want:

    Thanks everyone.
