Is this the pseudo-posh neighbour that always had some kind of tarquin
visiting? If so she probably can't sell because the flat is overpriced
and it really would be a squeeze to fit everything into daddy's yacht.

I'm astounded how much prices have gone up in chelters though!

 

It's different here. Sarah spends most evenings thrashing from channel
to channel, looking for something she can bear to watch. I occasionally
do a bit of tech support when the boxes lose patience with her and start
acting up, then go back to the laptop or the shed. I tend to get a bit
twitchy when the channel churn reaches fever pitch, which irritates
Sarah, so I'm allowed not to be in the same room as her when she's
hassling the TV.

Phew.

Well, yes - I did rather, considering it wouldn't sell at 80k four
years ago.

Yeah, it's shocking. Most of the flats here have doubled in value
since I moved in (although I'm sure that wasn't a factor!). I feel
sorry for anyone coming here on "first job" wages.
