  1. Any around? Some hopefully minor carb fettling required, but being a
twat it's beyond me. Beer tokens in return, obv.

I'm in Killie & if your down this way bring it with you & I'll have a look.

I may be up in Glesga' over the weekend but don't fancy driving/riding
    around smelling of petrol!

    Let me know.

Running roughly as feck on the throttle, fine at tickover. I'd had a
Dynojet Stage 1 kit fitted to it and that seems to have caused the
grief, as a lot of other Intruder owners have told me! Despite
following the instructions, they need fine tuning to get them running
right. The camp (oo-er) was split between balancing the carbs and
dyno-ing it, but the majority verdict was - it's a big fucking twin,
    dynoing is a touch overkill.

I'd even considered shoving it into a dealers, but they're all fully
booked for the next two weeks. Need any other info? No problem if you
can't be arsed doing this, feel free to say so!!

  4. Possibly, drop us an e-mail.

What is your definition of "minor" BTW.

Shall do. And from what all the other VS owners indicate, it's possibly
as "little" as balancing the carbs, and at the very very worst
re-seating the jets. Or is it needles?

Since I don't know WTF the various bits of the carbs do, I have no clue
as to how this compares to others ideas of minor.

Dave, I presume you also fitted new air filters with the kit?

If not, this will be the problem - if so, then as you say maybe balancing
    the carbs would help.

I don't have balancers myself but one of my pals has, I'll see if I can get
    a hold of them.

I'd have thought so. Wasn't me that did it, but I'll double check.
I'll let you know re the filters first!! I'd hate you to trek over if
it's as totally numpty as that!!

    Dave.

    UPDATE!

Sticking K&N filters in as it seems the stock type were used, so I'll
make sure the filters don't sort out the problem. Once that'd sone I'll
    post how it goes!
