First, remove the seat. Obvious, really. Once the centre console, mirrors, screen, gloveboxes, fairing trim and dash panel were off, the rest was easy. The Polks are top quality kit, even if Ebayers aren't keen on a pair. Sound is miles better than before. Took advantage of the removals to refit the screen vent, de-rust the cigarette lighter, and remount the Datatool. This is when I found out *why* the motion sensor had got a little sensitive recently. It was unglued from the inside of the fairing, and dangling on its wire. Sorted. Also fitted a new lock to the Givi on the Blackbird, and only used up half of my supply of pingphukkits doing it. Then came in to watch a dreadful game of rugby. -- | ___ Salad Dodger |/ \ _/_____\_ GL1500SEV/CBR1100XXX/KH500A8/TS250C |_\_____/_| ..62743../..14719.../..3157./.19406 (>|_|_|<) TPPFATUICG#7 DIAABTCOD#9 YTC#4 PM#5 |__|_|__| BOTAFOT #70 BOTAFOF #09 two#11 WG* \ |^| / IbW#0 & KotIbW# BotTOS#6 GP#4 \|^|/ ANORAK#17 '^'
huh? Ah well, the wiring is never going to be simple... Is that because you've not put the large amount of possibly resonant crap (mirrors, screen, gloveboxes etc) back on? That'd do it... It *was* bizarre, weren't it.
That's rugby, I'd have thought you'd have realised by now. -- Platypus - (unreal) VN800 Drifter, R80RT, Z200 DIAABTCOD#2 GPOTHUF#19 BOTAFOS#6 BOTAFOT#89 FTB#11 BOB#1 SBS#35 ANORAK#18 TWA#15
